You can use the VFR module to check in advance whether a litter complies with the breeding rules. You can do this by creating a trial breedingpair.
The step-by-step plan is as follows:
- Click the menu Breedingpairs
- Click Trial breedingpair in the upper right corner
- Enter the registration numbers of the male and female in the corresponding fields. You can also click the button with the three dots to search for and select the male and female from the list of dogs.
- Enter the Expected Pairingdate. This date can be in the past or in the future.
- Click the Calculate Automated breeding check results button. The results of the check will open in a new window.
- You can now see whether the pairing complies with the breeding rules. Green icons indicate that the relevant rule has been met. Red icons indicate that a rule has been violated.
Tip: if you’re unsure about the exact meaning of a particular rule, you can click on the round icon with an “i” on it next to the green/red icon that indicates whether or not the rule in question has been met. You’ll then see the description of the rule and the specified article number.
