We’re very happy with ZooEasy. The programme is stable. The menu is clear and easy to navigate. We can organise and store a wealth of information about dogs for future reference. We use it to register dogs, record health data and DNA test results, and record the cause of death where known. We also use it to record show and sporting results, as well as test results. We can process our litter checks in this programme and do so regularly. The biggest advantage is that we have all the litters at a glance; we can easily generate overviews using data from ZooEasy. We also offer breeders the opportunity to view a litter plan in advance in ZooEasy, allowing them to assess whether this is the right choice on paper. We also create attractive pedigree supplements from ZooEasy, and that works really well – we had this option built by you. We are also very pleased with the support. Responses are quick and they always think along with us.

A great database programme. It offers plenty of options for managing your animals and displaying them clearly in a pedigree with photos. Another interesting feature is that you can add numerous attachments for each animal. It’s also very handy that you can click through a pedigree to bring up and view the relevant animal, and then view all the details there as well.
However, when an attachment is added, I would like to be able to enter more characters regarding the title of the item or other descriptions. For example: Farm report, H. Stegeman (Veeteeltvlees Mar. 2008). This text is what I saved and selected for the document, but it does not appear in full in the attachment description. Perhaps something could be done about this. Otherwise, I have nothing but praise for the programme.

A user-friendly programme that does exactly what it’s supposed to! ZooEasy provided excellent support during the implementation of the system for our rabbit breeding programme: data entry, explanation of the system, and user training. Agreed timelines were met. The programme itself is extremely useful for selecting the right animals for breeding.

We’re very happy with ZooEasy; we can store everything we need to know. We use ZooEasy for pedigrees, health records and show results. It gives us a clear overview of the data for our breed. We don’t use all the features, but we have customised a few settings ourselves. For instance, as we don’t have colour variations, we use this field to display health information alongside the dogs’ basic details. For example, any eye conditions, so that I can see at a glance whether this dog is suitable for breeding.

Our ZooEasy database ‘Doesdata’ is the international studbook for our breed. All information about the dogs is recorded here, from health records and photos to litter reports, show results and working tests. It is an international database containing all relevant data, easily accessible to users. Doesdata is used by all Schapendoes clubs worldwide, united under the Doesdata Foundation. We are very happy with it!

We have been using ZooEasy for quite some time now, and couldn’t do without it. In ZooEasy, we keep track of all the information we receive from the Raad van Beheer, DNA test results, photos of dogs, information about health or deaths, results from shows or competitions, and so on. We also create test litters, check inbreeding coefficients, and generate reports on health information. We also keep track of information on the entire population. For example, if we want to know how many dogs of our breed have an HD A result with insufficient joint space, which dogs were diagnosed with cataracts during their ECVO eye examination last year, or which dogs have been tested and cleared for a specific DNA test, we can look that up in a minute. Ideal! In addition, we use ZooEasy to check which litters do and do not comply with our breeding regulations. At the moment, this is still done manually, but with the new module for BCR checks, we hope it will soon be fully automated. Our members will then also be able to easily check for themselves whether their planned litter will comply with the BCR. We hope this will help us even more in our mission to bring healthy Labradors into the world.
