Would you like to be able to access data from ZooEasy on an external website, for example to register for an inspection, retrieve contact details or see which animals belong to which owner? With the Web Services module, you can do this without the need for a ZooEasy account. The data is retrieved from ZooEasy via a secure connection and displayed directly on the external website. This is useful if, for example, you want to process show entries via your organisation’s website. The registrant can then enter an animal’s registration number and simply needs to confirm the details. The advantage is that the registrant no longer has to enter data manually, thereby preventing errors. As the administrator, you decide which data is displayed on the external website. This prevents sensitive information from being disclosed.
Who is currently using the module?
The module is currently in use by, amongst others, the Alpaca Association Benelux. Thanks to this module, entries for inspections are now processed via the organisation’s website. The web service is also used during the registration process for an inspection to retrieve and display the contact details.
